KFC graduation feast and Streetwise Snacks, both are awesome deals!

So me and my family went out for lunch and guess where we ended up at?

non other than KFC!
haha! we were surprised to see a promo of KFC, which is the Graduation feast.

It's a promo and I think it's only available here in the Philippines, well for 850.00 pesos you'll get 10 pieces of KFC chicken, 5 spaghetti and 5 drinks, of course we got that because we thought it's the right decision for us( which it did LOL). actually if you add everything up, 75X10( for the chicken) is already 750 pesos,
so 42X5(for the spaghetti) is already 210 pesos, overall the total cost of it is 930 pesos, but with the Graduation Fest promo we saved up 70 pesos :) Thank you KFC Philippines!

while ordering that I just saw the best thing that can ever happen to me that day!

Mash Potatoes, Mushroom soup, Brownies and French Fries are for 20 pesos only!
why didn't I saw this before? I quickly ordered French Fries haha!

KFC Spaghetti :)

The  pictures above are the food that we ordered :)

all in all I had a fulfilling meal at KFC as usual :) I was specially happy with the new street wise promo! for 20 pesos you can get real french fries! haha!

adios!

Continuation of Museo Ning Angeles :)

Hey! Okay now it's the continuation of my previous post about Museo Ning Angeles.

Now after the second part of the tour we went to the last and yummy part of the tour, which is the culinarium part!

a woodcraft that will welcome you to the culinarium part.
an old set-up of a dining are of the Kapampangans back then.
The above picture is actually REAL and well preserved utensils used by the Kapampangans in the days, kudos to the museum because these utensils actually look good, albeit you can still use these right now.

The great thing about the museum is that there's a fantastic view of the Sto. Rosario street and the Holy Rosary Parish on the second floor, I've never thought that the church looks good from here.

An artistic shot of my friend looking through the window.
the outside space where it can be the venue for various events of the museum.
"EATING IS REGARDED AS ONE OF THE GREAT PLEASURES IN LIFE"

The picture above is actually my favorite picture from the Museum trip, because I just really agree with the quotation haha!

We were glad that we went inside the museum, we just didn't learn new things but we just realized how important our ancestors and our history to us right now, because without them there will be no us today.
I hope the current generation will give importance to this, because from what I can see, it seems like they just don't care, its too sad though because I'm part of that generation :(

Museo Ning Angeles( The Angeles City Museum)

The entrance of the museum.
Me and friends( while doing our press release) visited the Museo Ning Angeles(Angeles city Museum)  Angeles city! haha! it is near Holy Angel University and in front of Holy Rosary Parish.

Entrance is 50.00 Pesos for a regular person.
10.00 Pesos for a private school student.
and  5.00 pesos for a public school student.

our guide during our visit, Ate Sammy Rodrigo.
it's kinda cheap right? plus those entrance fee are actually for the preservation of the museum itself, the guides, guards and maintenance people are all volunteers(I salute them!)

the floor is super cool, I want one in my house :)

Thanks to our tour guide I actually learned that Angeles City was founded on 1796 :) and the first actual street here is the Sto. Rosario st. I didn't knew that I was always walking on the very first street in Angeles City. The tour is actually separated in 3 parts, the first part being the introduction, the second one is the balikdan which is the part where we, as what ate Sam said, travel through time. And the last part is the culinarium, which is all about Kapampangan foods( too bad we didn't reserve for a tour, because if we did then they'll cook some Kapampangan dishes for us :| )

The good thing about this museum is that they feature miniature replicas of things from the past. I was so embarrassed  because it was my first time to enter Museo Ning Angeles.

A picture from the 1991 Mt. Pinatubo eruption.

A fact that I've learn from the museum is that during the 1991 Mt. Pinatubo eruption, the current mayor back then was MIA or missing in action and up until now they don't know what he did back then, Ed Pamintuan(also the current mayor of Angeles city today) was the vice-mayor back then, then he totally took control of helping the people who were affected badly by the eruption. It goes to show that even in the days, Mayor Ed Pamintuan is a great and awesome politician.

the beautiful and vintage staircase, we are now going to the last part of the tour, which is the Culinary part.
I'll be ending my post right here, I'll promise to update this post once I'm done with school stuff :)

adios!

Selecta Oreo Blast Ice Cream, Caramel Macchiato and Pic-A @ Marquee Mall Park.

After a very tiring day my friends and I decided to go to Marquee mall and too unwind and relax( because we are all stressed out with our press release homework). We decided to buy ice cream at the supermarket then something caught our eye! it's the new Selecta Oreo Blast ice cream! Then we bought Pic-A BBQ chips and finally we went to Starbucks to buy Caramel Macchiatos :)

Selecta Oreo Blast(145.00 pesos for the 800 ml variant) Starbucks Caramel Macchiato(155.00 Pesos for the Grande size) and Pic-A BBQ chips(35.00 Pesos)

I love the new Oreo  Blast Ice cream from selecta! its my newest favorite flavor from them.

It really contains REAL Oreo cookies, take note, THE CREAM IS STILL THERE! so you'll really taste REAL Oreo's with REAL Vanilla Ice cream.

The Vanilla ice cream really complements the Oreos making it very yummy and satisfying, It is really worth the 145.00 pesos you get to pay to have this ice cream.

The Oreo cookies in the Selecta Oreo Blast.

What the Oreo Blast looks like  inside.

The top cover of the Oreo Blast, it makes me want more :)

My friend enjoying the Oreo Blast.

We also had Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks, The reason why I just love this drink is because it is made up of 3 of my favorite things in a drink, Espresso, Caramel and Milk, Plus it really taste good :)

our Caramel Macchiatos, We ordered them on ice because we want it cold :)

My Caramel Macchiato you can see the Espresso, Milk and Caramel blending together, That's why I am so in-love with this drink.

I added some Oreo Blast ice cream into my Caramel Macchiato, I have to admit, it taste sooooo GOOD that Starbucks and Selecta should have a collaboration haha! Oreo Caramel Macchiato with Selecta Ice cream anyone?

To balance our taste buds out we bought a pack of Pic-A BBQ chips, it was just the right thing to eat after eating ice cream and drink coffee.

All is not complete without the relaxing view of the Marquee Mall park, this is better than staying inside an air conditioned area or a coffee shop, I just feel so alive :)

I had a very relaxing time in the Marquee Mall park. It really made my stressed mind feel relax and happy.
Until Next time!

Mr Ramyun Balibago, The Best Place For CHEAP Korean Food.

I've Always enjoyed eating Korean dishes, actually Korean dishes are my favorite foreign food.

In my opinion the best place to get your Korean fill is Mr. Ramyun, Mr. Ramyun is a small restaurant located at Balibago, Angeles City( Near Feilds Avenue) in front of Jhonny's Supermarket.

The fact that Mr. Ramyun is very near to my school makes it our go-to place if we ever crave for Korean food( which is all the time LOL)

Their menu is very affordable, I mean for a Ramyun Noodles for 39 Pesos? where can you find that? Plus you can choose 1 topping( which is Cheese, Dumpling, Beef, Crab stick, Kimchi and Ham) and theres a free Kimchi on the side too.

This place is great for budget conscious people like me, mainly because I'm still a college student and I can't afford expensive stuff! haha!

Sorry for not taking enough pictures, we were busy eating our food :) anyhow we ordered a whole Kimbab(which is actually the Korean version of Sushi) which cost us only 79 pesos, and the usual Ramyun noodles.

It took a while for our Ramyun noodles to be served at our table, but it was worth the wait because at last
we will finally have our fill haha!
We all enjoyed our Ramyuns and Kimbabs!

I really recommend this place for everyone to try. They also have another branch near Holy Angel University FYI haha!

Until next time! Adios!

Fish crackers at SPCF Intramural.

I'm Back! My hiatus from blogging is finally over! haha!
It's been like almost a year since I posted something in this blog.

And my comeback post is all about.......

FISH CRAKERS!

haha! these yummy crackers are actually made from real fish then they add some flour and  extenders.

These crackers are actually cheap, I got addicted to it the moment I started eating them.
For only 113 pesos you can get 1kg of these things!
I mean we repacked almost 100 packs with that 1kg of fish crakers! it's very sulit!
The reason why I even tasted these crackers is because we sold these during our intramural at our school.

I have one thing to say about these fish crackers....
YUMMY!
