The Mind Museum is Very Mind Blowing :)

March 22, 2013- Me and 2 of my friends went to the Mind Museum located at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

The ticket cost us 450.00 pesos each(because of the college student discount) but regular goers will need to pay 650.00 pesos for each ticket.

an Upside Down picture of my friends entering the Mind Museum :)

even their signage for their toilets are futuristic!
The weaving project of world renowned fashion designer Rajo Laurel :)
Okay I was very happy with the fact that Rajo made something fashionable yet it helped other people make a living, as what I've read from that section. Rajo made weaving more competitive in the market, usually these weavers make what we know as "basahans" or rags. Rajo thought of making these rags into something that people will want to buy it and viola! these accessories were born.

the lights are amazing :)

The museum actually features interactive modules for the visitors. A good example is the moon module where you press one of the buttons and the big moon in front of you will transform based on the button you pressed, I think the picture to the left is the Third quarter one( not really sure though).

REAL ROCKS FROM THE PAST!
I am so amazed by this segment in the museum, it's about fossils! it is very fun to read LOL!

The best part of the museum is that they have a real T-Rex skeleton! and it's R-E-A-L! I was so amazed because it was my first time to see a real dinosaur skeleton. I was just so happy with seeing this T-Rex skeleton.

The following pictures below are just random photos I've taken, as what I've realized here in blogging "Pictures speaks louder than words" ENJOY!

Grades Are Just Numbers.

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.”  John Lennon

What is the connection of this quotation with the title? Well, it’s simple as pie. As you may have observed a good number of students tend to neglect their studies. But, before you judge these students as lazy and stupid, have you ever asked yourself as to why these students neglect their studies? Reality check, you don’t even stay with these students 24/7, so what gives you the right to judge them?
Amazingly, people and even teachers will make conclusions that these students who are neglectful towards their studies in school are incompetent, lazy and will not go far someday – they’re wrong. I am proud to say that I am one of those students who tend to neglect their studies in school. I am always happy and satisfied with a passing grade because I know I did my best. I am happy knowing I did my best. Some may argue and say that I do not dream, aim high or am someone who doesn’t want to improve, or even someone who is just too lazy to do something for the improvement of his life. Well, the people who think of me this way are wrong. Because what if just having a passing grade gives me happiness? What if by neglecting my studies I am able to do the things that make me happy? Isn’t that what life is really about? Being happy? What’s the sense of living when you are not happy with what you do?
You may perceive these students as stubborn, lazy, stupid, and useless, but can’t you see? You’re the one who’s stubborn, lazy, stupid and useless! Why? Because you need to judge someone just to make yourself happy and satisfied. These people, even though they neglect their studies, even though they don’t do well in school, even though they don’t have a clear future ahead, albeit they are the ones who’re really happy right now. These people light up the dark, makes your day worthwhile, gives you problems and they are the one’s who makes the teacher’s day exciting. Imagine this, what if all of the students in the world are very studious? What will happen then? No one will be late, no one getting scolded, no one opposing someone and of course no one breaking the rules, do you think it’ll be a better world? Or will it be just a boring world?
Yes, when students neglect their studies they will have a tendency to fail and not learn anything. Well, not all students are like that! People should stop stereotyping these students because each and every one of us here in this world is unique. We all have different perspectives in life; we grow up with very different things in life. People should stop comparing their life with someone else’s because they don’t know what that person has been through. What we can do is ask the reasons why these students are neglecting their studies? Well, if you ask me this, it is because I am not interested with what the teacher is talking about. This makes me neglect my studies. Here is the thing, during class I tend to be absent or late therefore missing a lot of topics that my teacher has discussed. There was this one time when my professor asked us to make a press release and present it in class, the funny thing is when our teacher discussed about the press release I was absent, yet during the presentation of the press release I was the only one who got it right! The one who rarely goes to class on time or the one who rarely focuses his mind about studies beat the ones who focuses their minds and the ones who do not neglect their studies, the funny thing is, I learned more from self studying than listening to my teacher, it is kind of ironic because my parents pay for these teachers for me to learn, yet I learn more things from the internet and reading books which are free of charge. It just goes to show that even though some student neglects their studies that don’t mean that these students will not perform or do well. We are all unique individuals, and that’s a fact!
To those students who tend to neglect their studies, I want to tell you this, GRADES ARE JUST NUMBERS! They don’t represent you as a student. You can have a high grade in school, but I tell you this, grades won’t get you anywhere, it is you yourself who will get you somewhere. You need to believe in yourself and stop listening to people who pull you down. Do what makes you happy! At the end of the day life is not about the numbers, the grades, the teachers, the subjects, the lates, the late submissions, the money, and other people. Life is about the sadness, the happiness, the wisdom, the truth, the oneness, the understanding and lastly, life is about YOU.

Food Galore!Jollibee, Phils Best Mango Juice and Vinegar Pusit, TGIF!

MARCH 1, 2013-FRIDAY.

So after school my friends and I decided to eat at Jollibee, and of course as usual, we were dead hungry :)
I got a Yum Burger Value meal then upgraded my drink and my French fries to a Chocolate Flip Float(mainly because I just wanna try it out) and Extra Large French Fries :)
Extra Large French Fries for Extra Large Happiness :) just add 20 Pesos!
My Yum Burger :)
you can get the Flip Float for 50.00 Pesos for  A' la Carte while you can upgrade your Value meal drink for 30.00 Pesos.

It's my first time to try the new Chocolate Flip Float from Jollibee, at first I thought that it was kinda weird that the soft serve is actually at the bottom and not on the top, plus the irony that Jollibee still called it "Chocolate Float" wherin it should've just be called "Chocolate Sink" LOL just joking :)

Joking aside The Chocolate Flip Float is actually good, I wasn't expecting that putting the soft serve at the bottom will taste the same tough I am not saying that this is better, but I think the Flip Floats are just mere novelties, I mean where on earth could you find a Float where in reality nothing actually floats on the drink!haha!

If you want to drink something dark chocolate-ier then this one is for you :)

But for my taste it was just too Dark(in Chocolate terms) as you can see there are lots of Dark Chocolate crumbles on top, which I am not a fan of( I like White chocolate more) but I think it's okay for normal chocolate lovers.

After that we went home but before that I went to a Ministop near our school because I want me some Mango Juice :)

This is by far the best tasting Mango juice available in the Philippines! and it's just for 25.00 Pesos at any Ministop Branches!!

Ladies and Gents, I introduce to you Phil's Best Mango Juice!

The Ingredients says it all, more of the Juice less the sugar :) that's why I love it! I can always taste REAL mangoes with every sip.

Thanks to them there's Phil's Best! :)

after that I went to a sari-sari store near my house and just bought a WHOLE pack of Vinegar Pusit, because I was craving for it since like last week!

Adios! have a happy weekend guys :)

JUMONG RESTAURANT ANGELES BRANCH, Is There a Branch difference?

Ramyun Jumong Angeles
So me and my Best friends wanted to eat at the newest branch of Jumong Restaurant,  for some of you who doesn't have any idea what Jumong Restaurant is, its a pretty much popular Korean restaurant here in Angeles city where people can order good quality and authentic Korean food.

The original branch was at Feilds Avenue, but they just opened a new branch in the city proper, near the Sto. Rosario street and the Pamintuan Ancestral home.
While on our way we passed through The Pamintuan Ancestral house.
The Facade of the Angeles Branch
The facade of this branch is waaay better than the one in Feilds, not that I'm against that branch but this one is really modern and attractive. The signage is big enough to see and the colors and posters are very attractive.

My best friends entering the restaurant
Let's see whats on their menu.

So their menu is quite different from their branch in Feilds Avenue, first of all the big bowl of Ramyeon'(270.00 pesos, good for 6 people) is gone and they changed it to a small bowl(99.00 pesos good for 2 person) I'd still buy the big bowl if it's available, I think omitting that item is like omitting what jumong is all about( which is affordable and delicious food with large serving).

Anyways here's what we ordered though 3 Ramyeons, 1 order of fried chicken intestines, 1 order of Kimbab and the dish which name I forgot( I'm sorry ><)

The interior of the restaurant.
On the other hand the interior is way better than the other branch, it's just so clean to look at and it has that "Korea" feel to it, it's like I'm really eating at a real Korean restaurant in Korea. The wallpapers are actually nice it really blends well. Their Bathroom is also great! it's super clean and it actually has running water! the one thing the other branch seems not to have.

Their service is fast though we got our orders in the nick of time, it's amazing how they cook our food so fast, or do they? hmmmm.

The free side dishes :)
their version of Kimbab, 99.00 Pesos
it's the dish which name I forgot, haha but I know this one contains Fish cake, rice cake, Carrots, Cabbage and tomato sauce something. This one is worth 99.00 Pesos
Sorry but we can't help it, we finished all the chicken intestine before I even get to take a picture of it haha. An order will cost yo 146.00 pesos though, it's kinda not worth it because you can buy it cheaper outside.
And of course , the reason why we even eat Korean food, The Ramyeon! a bowl cost 99 Pesos and it's just god for 1 person! I am totally devastated because they just ommitted the big bowl one from their menu :(
We all finished our Ramyeons as usual haha! we were all full and happy with the outcome, here's the twist tough, our bill reached 700++! haha! we were all surprised because when we eat like this at the other branch our bill is just 500 less! haha!

when we saw the bill we quickly asked the waiter to take-out the left-overs because we don't want our money go to waste:)

Well basing from what we have experience in the Angeles branch, I think if your the type that wants their Korean food with good interior or ambiance then this branch is far better than the one in Feilds Avenue, But if you just want plain Korean food and don't care about the interior or ambiance they I suggest you go to the original branch. Anywhere you put it I still love Jumong Restaurant whatever happens!

bye!
